Learn how to book properties on Paddii for different property types.

Booking Process by Property Type

🎉 Events Spaces (Instant Book)

Step 1: Find Your Space

  • Search for event spaces
  • Filter by date, capacity, and amenities
  • Look for the "Instant Book" badge

Step 2: Check Details

  • Verify date and time availability
  • Check capacity matches your needs
  • Review included amenities
  • Read house rules and policies

Step 3: Book & Pay

  1. Click "Book Now"
  2. Select date and duration
  3. Enter number of guests
  4. Review pricing breakdown
  5. Add any special requests (optional)
  6. Proceed to payment
  7. Get instant confirmation!

Step 4: Confirmation

  • Receive booking confirmation email
  • Access booking details in dashboard
  • Chat with host if needed
  • Prepare for your event!

🎉 Events Spaces (Request to Book)

Step 1: Send Request

  1. Click "Request to Book"
  2. Select preferred date and time
  3. Enter number of guests
  4. Add message to host (introduce yourself!)
  5. Submit request

Step 2: Wait for Approval

  • Host reviews within 24-48 hours
  • Chat with host while waiting
  • Host may ask questions
  • Get notification when approved/declined

Step 3: Complete Payment

  • Once approved, you'll receive payment link
  • Complete payment within 24 hours
  • Booking confirmed after payment
  • Receive confirmation email

🏠 Rent & 🏘️ Sale Properties

Step 1: Schedule Viewing/Tour

  1. Click "Schedule Viewing" (Rent) or "Schedule Tour" (Sale)
  2. Choose preferred date and time
  3. Add any questions or notes
  4. Submit request

Step 2: Confirmation

  • Wait for host/agent confirmation
  • Receive viewing appointment details
  • Get directions and contact info
  • Automatic chat created with host

Step 3: Attend Viewing

  • Visit the property at scheduled time
  • Ask questions during viewing
  • Take photos/videos if allowed
  • Discuss terms with owner/agent

Step 4: Next Steps

  • Negotiate directly with owner
  • Sign agreements offline
  • Complete rent/purchase process
  • Paddii facilitates communication only

Booking Requirements

For All Bookings:

  • ✅ Verified email address
  • ✅ Complete profile
  • ✅ Valid phone number

For Event Bookings:

  • ✅ Valid payment method
  • ✅ Agree to cancellation policy
  • ✅ Follow event space rules

Pricing Breakdown

Event bookings show:

  • Subtotal: Base price × duration
  • Service fee: Paddii platform fee (~5%)
  • Discounts: If applicable
  • Total: Final amount to pay

  • 💳 Debit/Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve)
  • 🏦 Bank transfer
  • 📱 USSD

After Booking

Confirmed Bookings:

  • View in Dashboard → Bookings
  • Chat with host anytime
  • Receive reminders before event
  • Access booking details & receipt

Pending Bookings:

  • Track status in dashboard
  • Continue chatting with host
  • Receive notification when updated

DO:

  • Book early for popular dates
  • Read full property description
  • Check cancellation policy
  • Communicate clearly with hosts
  • Review property rules

DON'T:

  • Make payments outside Paddii (for events)
  • Share sensitive personal info publicly
  • Book without reading policies
  • Ignore host messages
