Welcome to Paddii! This Host Agreement outlines your responsibilities and our commitments as you list your property on our platform. By creating a listing, you agree to these terms.
1. Host Responsibilities
Property Accuracy
- All information about your property must be accurate and up-to-date
- Photos must genuinely represent your property
- Amenities listed must be available and functional
- Property descriptions must not be misleading
Legal Compliance
- You must have the legal right to rent/sell the property
- Comply with all local laws, regulations, and zoning requirements
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Pay all applicable taxes
- Meet safety and building code requirements
Guest Communication
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours
- Provide clear check-in/check-out instructions
- Be available for guest questions during their stay
- All communication must occur on the Paddii platform
2. Booking Management
Accepting Bookings
- Honor all confirmed bookings
- Do not request payment outside of Paddii
- Follow your stated cancellation policy
- Update your calendar to reflect availability
Cancellations
- Host-initiated cancellations may result in:
- Cancellation fees
- Calendar blocking
- Reduced search ranking
- Account suspension for repeated violations
Pricing
- Set competitive and accurate pricing
- Clearly disclose all fees and charges
- Honor the price shown at time of booking
- Update prices through the platform only
3. Property Standards
Cleanliness
- Properties must be thoroughly cleaned between guests
- Provide clean linens and towels
- Maintain hygienic bathrooms and kitchen facilities
- Remove all previous guest belongings
Safety
- Ensure smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are functional
- Provide emergency contact information
- Disclose any safety hazards
- Maintain secure locks and entry systems
Amenities
- All listed amenities must be available and working
- Provide adequate supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.)
- WiFi passwords must be provided if WiFi is listed
- Parking must be available if advertised
4. Financial Terms
Service Fees
- Paddii charges a service fee on each booking
- Fees are clearly disclosed before listing
- Fees are automatically deducted from payouts
- Fee structure may be updated with 30 days notice
Payouts
- Payouts are processed within 24-48 hours after guest check-in
- Funds are deposited directly to your bank account
- Valid banking information must be on file
- Tax information may be required
Pricing Control
- You set your own prices
- Dynamic pricing tools are available
- Special offers and discounts are at your discretion
- Paddii does not control your pricing
5. Guest Relations
House Rules
- You may set reasonable house rules
- Rules must be clearly stated in your listing
- Rules must comply with fair housing laws
- Rules cannot be discriminatory
Guest Reviews
- You may review guests after their stay
- Reviews must be honest and fact-based
- Reviews cannot be used for retaliation
- Fake reviews will result in account suspension
Disputes
- Report any issues through the platform
- Provide documentation when necessary
- Cooperate with Paddii's resolution process
- Do not pursue off-platform legal action without notifying us
6. Platform Usage
Account Security
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Do not share your account
- Use strong, unique passwords
On-Platform Transactions
- All bookings must occur through Paddii
- Do not exchange contact information to avoid fees
- Report any guests requesting off-platform payment
- Violations may result in immediate account suspension
Content Rights
- You retain ownership of your photos and content
- You grant Paddii license to use your content for marketing
- Content must not violate copyright or privacy laws
- Paddii may remove content that violates terms
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- List properties you don't have authority to rent/sell
- Discriminate against guests based on protected characteristics
- Request or accept off-platform payments
- Create duplicate listings for the same property
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Harass or threaten guests
- Use the platform for illegal purposes
8. Paddii's Rights
We reserve the right to:
- Remove listings that violate our standards
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- Withhold payouts pending investigation
- Modify these terms with notice
- Charge penalties for policy violations
- Pursue legal action for serious violations
9. Liability and Insurance
Host Liability
- You are responsible for your property and guests
- Paddii is not liable for property damage
- Paddii is not liable for guest injuries
- You should maintain appropriate insurance
Recommended Insurance
- Property/liability insurance
- Short-term rental insurance if applicable
- Coverage for guest-caused damage
- Business interruption insurance
10. Termination
By You
- You may remove listings at any time
- Honor all existing bookings before removal
- 30-day notice required for some programs
- Account deletion available upon request
By Paddii
We may suspend or terminate your account for:
- Violation of this agreement
- Fraud or dishonest behavior
- Poor hosting standards
- Legal violations
- Safety concerns
- Repeated cancellations

- Online resources and guides
- Community forums
- Educational webinars
Reporting Issues
- Report safety concerns immediately
- Document property damage with photos
- Contact support for payment issues
- Flag inappropriate guest behavior
12. Updates to This Agreement
- We may update this agreement periodically
- Material changes will be communicated via email
- Continued use constitutes acceptance
- Review terms regularly for updates
